The Painted Desert, Terry Everson
The Painted Desert is an area in the north of South Australia located between the towns of Oodnadatta and Cadney. The geographical location is the Arkaringa Hills. It is fast becoming a must see destination for photographers and artists. The unusual colours are a result of gypsum and other minerals leeching into the soil.
